The Democrats: Party of intelligence and compassion.
The Republicans: Party of down-to-Earth realism and common sense.
If we truly want to be realistic, then we should face the fact that the two parties are fundamentally indistinguishable and in practice follow the same flawed policies, with only superficial differences designed to feed the image which the parties respectively decide to advertise to the American voters.
There is nothing intelligent about voting for a Democrat, nor is there anything sensible about voting for a Republican.
